Ground Flatness Requirements for Engineered Wood Floors

The ground flatness requirement of engineered wood flooring is very important, which will not only affect the smooth progress of the installation process, but also have a great impact on the final floor effect. In general, the following are ground flatness requirements for engineered wood floors:

1. The ground should be flat, without uneven parts. The height difference of the ground should be within a certain range, and it is generally recommended not to exceed 3mm.

2. The ground should have no apparent slope or slope. Significantly uneven slopes or inclinations in the floor can lead to incorrect installation of the floor or deformation of the floor.

3. The ground should be free of obvious cracks and holes. Cracks and holes make the floor less secure and prone to grime from everyday use.

4. The floor should meet the specific requirements of the floor material used. Different types of engineered wood floors may have different requirements on the flatness of the ground. Please refer to the installation guide provided by the floor manufacturer before using it.

Please note that the above are general requirements only and specific requirements will vary by floor type, floor material and floor manufacturer. Before installation, it is best to consult professional construction personnel or floor manufacturers to obtain accurate ground flatness requirements.
